I haven't heard from the guy in months and then all of a sudden he posts this. All this time I thought the problem was corrected. I went to great length to help him find the problem and direct his mechanic and the emails stopped so I considered it fixed. I wish I were there to try and help in person, cuz after the communication I had with him, I was convinced that his mechanic was not qualified to be working on his car. They lost his old transmission for crying out loud. I wanted to get it and they couldn't find it. They probably put his old one back on for all I know - all the times he went in to have it pulled for clutch and flywheel replacements. :) I wonder if they used GL5 lube in it. GL5 is not supposed to be used in our trannies. It has compounds that react with the brass syncros and chemically wear them. I'm pretty sure this isn't the case, I'm more inclined to think that it is a problem with his clutch system and it is dragging and causing the gears to grind. That would explain why his flywheel and clutches have had to be replaced. Something isn't right up there in that bell housing. : but usually people on this board will rant about a bad experience at a car dealership, or with other fake members. Sure, Ash is a nice guy, but you have to stand behind your product, otherwise you're no good. You *have* to be a man(woman) of your word. : I think it should have been taken up with Ash personally, but if that gets no where it's best to warn the entire group. If it's just an isolated incident then Ash would most likely take care of it quietly
